Just Like That, my girl goes from floppy, trying to sit, but can't...to sitting up (while I'm trying to change her diaper and changed my attention over to the diaper changing table, wipes, and getting her PJs for the night).
And here she is, sitting near hard objects (like this rocking chair) with just a focus on the book in front of her, and no worries about tipping over.
I left her in the dining room and she crawled over to the door to the kitchen, sat up, and here she is. Yammering on and on about something (who woulda thunk it that my kid would be a talker!) and just sitting there. Hi Mom. I knew I could always do this. I was just waiting for my body to catch up with my confidence.
