I thought my previous post was all the news I needed for this year.
But instead, I found out today I'm being laid off from my job at the end of the month. And the company doesn't have the goodness to even pay my benefits for an extra month or two.
This sucks.

What the ?!?! That's a drag. I know it's completely cliche, but it just may be a blessing in disguise. When hubby was laid off four days before Christmas years ago, we were devastated, but it forced him in a totally new, much better direction and we're far happier for it!
